WorkSource – Renton, Washington

The King County Developmental Disabilities Program contracts with O’Neill and Associates to be a resource for people with developmental disabilities at WorkSource Renton (WSR). We are on site as a full partner to take advantage of the employment opportunities available there and through other WorkSource partners.

Another key component of this project includes educating the WorkSource and their partners about people with developmental disabilities and supporting them to include these individuals in the WorkSource services. We also provide outreach by promoting and educating the disability community, including schools, on the resources and services available at WorkSource Renton.

Project outcomes include:

Jobs and employer connections
Disability Outreach team
Training events on disability resources and issues
Transition class partnership
Use of resources by supported employment agencies and consumers
Partnerships with other organizations.
